Apparently, full discharges are bad for your battery. I don’t know about you, but I’ve always heard it’s best to drain down your battery, fully charge, and start the cycle all over again. I do, however, know that it’s better to use the AC adapter if you can, so I guess that’s what I’ll start doing from today onward. Ever since I took the battery out, my laptop hasn’t been over-heating, which it has been doing a lot lately.
As for charging the battery, it’s best to do short charges, and once a month, do the whole full-discharge routine.
