All those years on Facebook with events about meteor showers, and it never dawned on me that the Perseid one happens annually. D’oh! Every time I’ve gone out to see it, though, either the weather has been terrible or I’ve honestly forgotten about it by the time night falls. This year’s is tonight (in the United States) with the best viewing times from midnight to 5 a.m. If you (or I) miss it, we may able to catch it tomorrow night as well.
