Beaming a Business Card With Your Palm OS Device

Not many people take advantage of this feature, but did you know you can beam an electronic business card to another Palm OS device from your Palm Centro? Here’s how:

Ensure that Beam Receive is On on the device receiving the business card.

1. Press Phone.

2. Select Contacts.

3. Select New Contact.

4. Enter all your information for your electronic business card. Select Done when you are finished.

5. Open the Contact you just created.

6. Press Menu.

7. Choose Select Business Card under the Record menu.

Now if you ever want to beam this your business card to another Palm user, you can do so with these steps:

1. Go to any Phone view.

2. Press Menu.

3. Go under the Record menu select Beam Business Card.

I’ve had my Palm Centro for over a year, now, and I never learned how to do this. I was curious when I was exploring my phone again while waiting for dinner so I researched how to do this as soon as I got home. So easy, I can’t believe I never set mine up before.
